This post is for all the Magic: The Gathering nerds out there! I recently did these three guys for a buddy of mine who works at a store that sells Magic: the Gathering cards. The new MTG set came out a week or so ago, and he wanted me to design Germ tokens to go along with the release of the set that they could have printed up and sold in the store. To be honest, I'm more of an old school MTG nerd myself (I stopped playing for a while there after the set "Planechase" came out), so I'm not exactly familiar with what Germs really do, but they were way fun to draw nonetheless!
I've got loads more work on the way, so check back soon for more blood, guts, and slimy shit!
Achoooo! (Germs, gettit?)

These are awesome! And a really cool idea, much better than using coins or whatever for tokens and token creatures.
I'm pretty old school for Magic too - I stopped playing around when it was all Thallids and spore tokens. They were some kind of fungus-man as I recall, you should do some of those!
Great stuff Jimmy!
In-sane work as always, Jimmy!
I've never really gotten into Magic myself, but if all the cards looked like this I would have collected them just to have as my "art snob" stash.
